As I’m sure is completely obvious by anyone viewing the site for the first, second, or third time, things aren’t quite progressing as originally planned. It turns out I am much less motivated about everything around me than I had originally anticipated, which is why I am now looking to build a team of aspiring writers to help get the ball rolling.
Most necessary is a sports writer, as it is the only topic I know absolutely nothing about. Everything else is secondary, but I will certainly accept just about anyone who wants to join the crew. You must live in Terre Haute and have basic writing skills, as well as access to a decent-quality digital camera for taking pictures to accompany original news articles and reviews.
The positions are unpaid, which is why I prefer hiring aspiring writers. Even working for a small operation like this is very valuable experience. I’ve been managing web sites about three years now, and I’ve seen plenty of my writers go on to accomplish pretty amazing things, or at the very least land decent writing jobs thanks to their experience working for me.
